I do not buy any convenience granola because I always make mine with less sugar and my own chosen ingredients to have that perfect mix. So be creative with this recipe to give it your own twist!
1 kg granola
500 gr oats
50 gr sesame seeds
100 gr almond leaves
100 gr dried cranberries
50 gr chopped walnuts
150 gr honey
50 gr olive oil
pinch of salt
3 drops of vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 165 degrees C (325 degrees F ). Line a large baking sheets with parchment.
Combine the dry ingredients except the cranberries in a large bowl. Stir together the salt, honey, oil and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Pour over the dry ingredients, and stir to coat. Spread the mixture out evenly on the baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven until crispy and toasted, about 25 minutes.
Cool, then stir in the cranberries before storing in an airtight container.
