I was so lucky to be a part of a cooking class with some lovely girls in Marrakesh. My cooking class took place in the Amal Women’s Training Center and Moroccan Restaurant.

We prepared and cooked lamb tanjine and chicken bastille. They used lotta cinnamon for their food. Safran, Ras el Hanout, Ginger, Cilantro and Parsley are also in the programme. Gosh, I wish I can describe how good it smelled there. It was christmasy cos of the cinnamon and exotic at the same time.
I was very excited to cook in a more traditional way again. It reminded me of the villages in Indonesia.
The taste of good food, discovering new places and meeting new people are the best thing of traveling!
The girls were very welcoming and warm. Well happy girls are the prettiest!
